Entrepreneurship Summit
The Farley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the McCormick School of Engineering and Applied Science is sponsoring its first annual summit for alumni, students, faculty, and guests on Thursday, May 21 from 1 to 6 p.m. on the University’s Evanston Campus. The topic is “Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Design: A Partnership.”
Stefan Birrer will participate in the Panel addressing Being an Entrepreneur in a Recession and draw on his experiences as Founder of Dosensio. Derek Moeller of Context Media and Charles Kuehmann of Questek will also be members of this Panel. (Moderator: Professor Walter Herbst)
Jeffrey Bier of North Bridge Venture Partners, David Sachs of ARES Management, Warren Holtsberg of MVC Capital and Bob Shaw, an Angel Investor, will all engage in the Panel discussing Financing Ventures in a Recession (Moderator: Professor Michael Marasco)
This event will lead into the final round of the Northwestern University Venture Challenge, the only NU-wide student business idea competition.
